My meter hasn't moved in a week

Well I'm slightly concerned I did the kettle test last night, after being sure only one neighbour was using their electricity, and several meters were all flashing at once! Perhaps coincidental (I'm hoping) and that my flat isn't connected to a few...
That said my meter wasn't flashing when I turned on various things. Would it still do that if ReD is written on the meter?
Post a picture showing the meter and wiring.
If you have not already reported this, you need to ASAP, because a meter displaying RED for whatever reason needs to be replaced.0 -
Hi,
Someone from SSE is coming out next week, rest assured it has been reported.
I have only these photographs at the moment but can upload some more later: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_utf2lKoF2-Q3ZkeDVKd01WRVk?usp=sharing0 -
Has screen 2 advanced at all ?0

Neither have. Yes, I thought like you it might just be one reading. The clock screen is still keeping good time...0

The good news is SSE have come out today and fitted a new meter, this no longer displays an error message.
The bad news is that four hours later after watching television, using my laptop, and having an electric heater on the meter hasn't moved off 0000. I'm now at a loss about what to do, and whether this is going to be considerable work.
What could be the issue? We were a little unsure whether the mains trip was actually part of the set-up where the meter was, but all my electricity went off, and presumably there would have been a nasty shock for the engineer if it hadn't been mine had switched off?0
