ISA Bonus - Help to Buy Scheme

Hi, hoping someone has the answer because me and my partner are stumped.

Just in the process of buying our first house and have been using the government's help to buy isa. now we've put in an offer at 118,000 with a five percent deposit which has been accepted but we could have put more down (just not enough to get us to ten percent) so the question is do we get the full bonus - or only the bonus based on the 6,000 deposit?

Thanks!

You get the bonus on however much you have saved in the ISA, which must be less than £6000 as it has not existed that long.

On however much you have saved in the ISA that gets put towards the property price from the seller rather than what you put towards the fees from solicitors etc.

If it is OP as 'me and my partner' then there can be two ISAs combined for which a bonus is claimed, one for each person. If started at the beginning of the year the aggregate amount available before bonus could now be in excess of the £6k needed for the deposit.

But this is a duplicate of the OP's request on the ISAs board:
