Whiplash claim timeframe?

I was involved in a car crash in September and sustained whiplash confirmed by a&e and insurance assigned physiotherapist. So far I've had six weeks of physio and am still in pain (I've come off my painkillers several times and had to go back on them due to flare ups), the medical GP for my insurance who I saw last week has recommended a minimum of another six weeks of physio as the crash aggravated my previous lower back and pelvis problems. I also have severe anxiety driving and am now considering either getting a dash cam or giving up my car depending on how bad the anxiety gets over the next few months.
The driver who went into me admitted full liability to his insurance (Tesco) and the police pursued action against him, handing him several conditions to be fulfill or he'll be prosecuted.
My solicitors are Carpenters, I know a few people on here have had experience with them. Considering what I've just written, probably a standard whiplash claim, how long usually does it take for an offer to come through since I've already had the medical? I know there's no standard time frame and it can take years but is there a sort off ballpark timeframe I can expect? I've never had to claim before as I've only been driving since May, very bad luck on my part.
Thanks in advance!

I was hit when cycling 18 months ago and the issue is still ongoing with solicitors, not even had the official medical assessment though had physio after the event. Other half was hit in a car and I'm sure that went on a good 12 months as the other driver disputed the claim despite him going straight through a give way junction and hitting the car that was already crossing the road
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

It varies a lot - and your solicitors may wish to wait until you have completed the urther course of physio to see whether that is sucessful or whether you continue to experience problems - the legth of time for which someone continues to suffer is relevant to any settlement, and in some cases it may be necessary to have a further medical assesment .
However, your solicitors would be the best people to ask, as they know your case. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
Once you have a medical report with a prognosis you can value and settle the claim. Whether it is in your interests to do so at that stage is another matter.0

The medical report will first be sent to you to confirm all the info is correct, and you'll have to sign confirming this, and send it back to the solicitors, so it depends on when you send that back initially. Your solicitor will then need to value the claim and discuss that with you.
Also, some solicitors wait until physio has completed before they send the claim to the insurers as some insurers (including who I work for) won't pay for physio you haven't had.
They also can't send the claim across until they've had full instruction from you on what you're claiming for IE loss of earnings, fares etc.
There is no standard timescale for a claim because each claim is different. Some solicitors even wait until the client is fully recovered before sending the claim through.0
