Have you had your NoA yet, giving you a date by which to file your WS and evidence?

This is a case where even if they discontinue, you can sue for compensation for misuse of data under the DPA, because they obtained your data without reasonable cause.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Guys,
I have got the court hearing date as 24th March. Need to start preparing for it...
Meanwhile, I have an urgent travel planned around that date, I can come back on 23rd worst case and attend the court hearing on 24th March. But i was wondering if there is a way we can request for a different court hearing date other than 17th March to 24th March?
I read the letter and it states that I can request the judge to present my case, but i dont want to leave it to that.. as i said I am happy to shorten my trip and attend it on the 24th March if there was no other choice.
Thanks in advance0 -
just got the letter yesterday. 24th march is the hearing0

I am completely new to the forum and need some help please. I work for a NHS Trust in Greater Manchester. The trust employs a private company to manage the site car parking permits etc. However, employees are being charged considerably more for parking on the site depending on their salary/band etc, even though we are sharing the same parking areas. My question is can they charge more for the same service ? I have had a number of parking tickets recently and intend to dispute them.0

So have you got your WS and evidence filed in good time, before you go? Show us the WS and the evidence you are planning to append to it and any skeleton argument you intend to file as well (summary of the legal arguments and any exhibits/court transcripts).
As covered last week in several threads you can read by searching the board for 'skeleton'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You've posted on someone's thread hence it was never noticed. You need to start your own new thread after reading the NEWBIES thread and tell us what you said in appeal to these.
My signature tells you where to click - so please no 'where do I find the NEWBIES thread?' reply like someone did yesterday who was clearly not bothering to actually read the words in my reply and signature.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Many thanks "Coupon-mad".
On a surprising note, I got a letter from UKPC couple of days back saying they are Discountinuing this claim. Attached was a "Notice of Discontinuance" letter to the court and a copy to me.
What next steps should i take from my end to confirm that there are no further actions required.
There is a Note on the Notice of discontinuance which says
"Note: where another party must consent to the proceedings being discontinued, a copy of their consent must be attached to and served with, this form."
What should I do formally?
Many thanks everyone0 -

Telephone the court, and get confirmation that the claim is discontinued. Your consent is not required for that.
If it is discontinued, game over, and no further action required.
