Two claim forms received from BW legal

On the 7/11 I received two claim forms from the county court for two parking infringements allegedly commited on the same day in December of last year, the letters are completely identical with the only difference being the time of the offence, one of which being at 18:40 and the other at 19:14, after reading through the forum I filled in the acknowledgment of service for both letters.

A couple of days after relieving these letters I received a further letter from BW legal, this time only a single letter which was the notice that the county court claim had been issued, I assume this should have been sent prior?

The car park in question ' The Percy car park Hanro Group ' which was located next to St James park Newcastle ( it is now a block of flats )

I first received the PCN months after the alleged incidents and after doing a bit of googling I decided to ignore the letters which I'm now regretting after receiving these claim forms.

I have no memory of being in the car park on that date, and feel it's very unfair that I have received two PCNs 30 minutes apart

I now am at the point of compiling a defence but I have absolutely zero experience of anything court related.

Any advice would be welcomed and at the very least If it goes to court would be there anyway if merging the claims as one, paying just one would be hard enough

Thanks in advance

you should read any similar BW LEGAL court claim threads on here

plus read the NEWBIES sticky thread, court section , especially the links to the "bargepole" threads which explain a lot of it in plain english

and read the parking pranksters court guide too

then you need to work on the defence , which needs to be in within 28 days if you have acknowledged them already

also , note that the court claim process has already started so it is "going to court" , one way or another

the MCOL.s are the 2 court cases
