Zzps pcn

Hi, back in 28/08/2016 at 16:40 (this was on a Sunday don't know if that makes a difference). I parked in a private car park for a vets 4 pets which was also closed at the time but it's meet door to a subway. I received a pcn from a private company and was told to ignore it as it couldn't be legally enforced. (I know in hindsight I probably should have done my own research to come to that conclusion). I've now received a follow up letter from ZZPS trying to say I owe them £172. Ive read on another thread on here about zzps being a bit dodgy but that was an old thread so just wanted to see if there's anything I can do or if this is a legitimate pcn. Thanks you for any help any one can offer.
Ben.
Ben.

the original PCN from the PPC may well be legitimate, but only a judge can decide that
ZZPS are debt collectors and should be ignored as they have no powers
the correct procedures are laid out in the NEWBIES sticky thread, but as its with debt collectors its too late for any appeal
the PPC has 6 years to try a court case (in england or wales that is)0
