in Credit cards
I'm new to this so not entirely sure what I am looking for exactly.
I'll be using it for purchases to manufacturers, after a customer buys from my store. This is how I plan to build up some air miles.
The manufacturers are in the US so I know I'd like a card that would be free to use to make payments online to US company's.
The main thing I think I should have is the ability to build air miles on credit card spending and NOT just on flights I take.
I do also take a lot of flights so ideally a card that builds air miles in both ways.
I know I am asking a lot, but any info will be helpful.
Also if you know of any small company who can advise on this for me who specialise in it, would be helpful, Eventually I'll be spending £10-50k per month on the card, initially though it will only be £2-600 per month.

Headforpoints web site is your best starting point.
Lloyds Avios card gives you the free foreign currency conversion (£24 annual fee).
The introductory offers on some of the BA cards and other AMEX cards may give you short term value too.0 -
The Lloyds Bank Avios Duo is your only hope for a forex free UK based card that earns miles.0

Air Miles have been called Avios for years now0

What airline do you want miles with? Or don't you mind?0

I found UK miles cards a waste of time, beyond the introductory offers. I stick to pure cashback cards now, and use Amex platinum cashback one.0

Depends on your usage of them - if you spend several thousand pounds every month then points can be accrued at a reasonable rate and the cards pay for themselves.0 -
Air Miles still exists in Canada.
The UK version was just a licensing agreement.Air Miles have been called Avios for years nowThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I honestly don't know and don't mind, still yet to know the best way to do this and even understand how it works, whether it's with one particular airline or with multiple, still not sure how it all works..0

what kind of flashback can you get? as in, how much per £100, per £1,000, per £10k?0

Agreed. There isn't really another card that fits your criteria around.
I switched to it when MBNA's Diamond Club card closed down and I've been pretty happy with it. The fact that it doesn't charge FX fees means my finances are simpler, but you still need another card (Creation or Halifax Clarity) for foreign cash withdrawals.
If you like a referral, I can get you a 4,500 welcome bonus. Not massive, but still...0
