Pay monthly travel insurance

I used to have a great deal through my employer for annual family worldwide travel insurance. I was able to pay via instalments through my salary. This stopped several years ago but I cannot find a provider who does similar by DD. I don't want to sign up for a bank account attached one, does anybody know of any such poviders?

Not aware of any providers who do that.

Why not a bank account one?

I prefer not to open a new bank account for the sole purpose of having travel insurance which may not suit my needs. I was mis-sold one several years ago which left me in financial hardship at the time. (I went through the ombudsman via MSE and got compensation last year). I do not want to go through that again.

Nationwide's FlexPlus account has a dual purpose, in that it will pay you 3% AER on up to £2,500...so your salary earns interest until you spend it!
...which may not suit my needs.
Reading the policy documentation (available online at Nationwide's website) before purchase would prevent that happening!

Yes you can't be mis sold if it suits your needs.....You also get breakdown cover and mobile phone cover, but I think the 3% AER will change.
