How to view a historic webpage from Chrome history?

I viewed and booked a hotel mid October, but the room we were given is not what was advertised.

I still have the link in my Chrome history and wondered if it is possible to view it without the page refreshing. Maybe view it offline?? Or via the cache.

Really wish I'd taken a screen shot :(

Thank you

That's a good idea but the wayback machine doesn't always store images.

If it would show the room description anywhere that would help, not necessarily the images.

There's also Cached Pages and Cached View.
  • There is a cached page which shows the hotel information but not the availability which would show the room rates :(
  • Does not your confirmation state what you were being offered? Mine from booking.com do

Hi, that's the problem the room info is wrong, it is not what was advertised. Hence wanting to see the original webpage.

    Thanks.

You could always disconnect from the network (unplug Ethernet cable or turn off WiFi) and then call up the page cached in your browser? Then you could screen shot it to help show your case.

Of course it may be possible for browser cached pages to be modified. ;)

I've tried to no avail :(

I'll try DoaM's suggestion when I get home.
