Claim or not?

Hello,
I pranged my car on a gatepost and there is a crack to the plastic bumper as well as scuffs and also a few scuffs on the adjacent bodywork. I've been quoted between £180-£240 to repair, rather than replace the bumper. I have a £100 excess on my policy and protected NCD. I realise that despite the NCD, my premium could well rise if I make a claim (I had a similar claim 3 years ago). Obviously if I go through the insurance, the bumper will probably be replaced, which would result in a better quality repair but I am undecided about whether to claim or not. My premium at the moment is around £28 pm. Obviously I can't ring the insurers for advice as that would be taken as notice of an 'accident'. I was wondering by what sort of percentage the premium is likely to rise if I claim.
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks

Do dummy quotes online with and without a fault claim in your history to get a good idea of the difference the claim makes0
