rented a cottage last weekend 1st night when we got there it rained got up kitchen floor was full of rain water cleaned that up went out for day got back at tea time when we had a good look at cottage it is full of cob webs and dust the bathroom vent was full of dust stains on bathroom floor around the toilet stains on all the upstairs ceilings opened kitchen cupboards wires in the cupboard twisted together and taped bare wires in another cupboard no heating in cupboard fat all over hob top we have contacted the woman we rented it off she said it was cleaned before we went in and i should of said while i was there so she could of sent a cleaning team in is there anyone i can complain to i photos sorry for going on

who did you book through ? was it on a site . like holiday park etc . you can give them a bad review on something that has a few reviews already (trip advisor . holiday truths, type of thingy ) you can name and shame here too. If someone else googles the name of the cottage or person this would show up. What area is it in etc

What? You didn't mention these points until after your stay was complete? Couldn't have been too bad, could it?

Yes you would, but the reality is that it wasn't. If you complained at the time, you are in a better position to get some money back or allow them to put the defects/problems right.

You didn't notice stains and cobwebs etc . etc. the day you arrived or the next morning before you went out?

It couldn't have been that bad.
