It doesn't really matter what their website, or even the signs say. What is important is what your BF's lease/AST says (depending on whether he owns or rents the property). Get hold of that document, and let us know exactly what it says about parking, and also whether there are any "catch-all" clauses that allow the managing agent to make up additional regulations as they please.

Hi, there is no information on his tenancy agreement in regards to parking at all...

Then the parking company, who are a third party, cannot add anything to an existing contract with the landowner.

I hope you haven't used your real name as your username. If you have, then immediately edit out anywhere in your original post about who was driving.

    just refer to, The Driver.

  • Hi, could Someone HELP. We live in a Housing !!!., and pay some ground rent to have our own parking Bay. But we have 2 cars so I parked behind my Husbands car, causing NO blockage to anyone. We have 1 parking bay and 1 visitors permit in each of our cars.....although there is no Parking Bays for visitors and thus we all park where we do not cause an obstruction. We have followed the forums advise as to ignoring the Parking Ticket and letters but now we have received a County Court Claims form from County Court Business Centre in Northampton ( UK CAR PARKING MANAGEMENT LIMITED wanting the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) What can we do, I have no idea whether this is in our Tenancy Agreement, although I wouldn't of thought so as they did not put signs up for at least 4/5 years later...1st with clamping then changed to Parking fines. Help Please.
