it is only if you get an official LBC from an actual solicitor, or a court claim from Northampton that you need to look into it further
its clearly a copy and paste error as the small claims court is limited to £5000 , so little point worrying about a demand for £15 million !!

Someone at Gladstones / DR+ has clearly managed to totally balls-up their robo-template letters, such that the mail-merge they use is looking at a date field in the database for a value.
I suspect that it should be an expression that says "IF [before] date THEN <price_one> ELSE <price_two>", and the expression has stopped working, or has been fiddled with.0 -

Who is the SRA? I will email the dvla aswell dont worry i will not be paying ! If they had a machine i could put money in at the carpark it would of been fine i would of bit i didnt realise i was shopping for over 2 hours0

I wonder if it hasn't been done on purpose.
People receive these, panic, spot the error then ring to point out/check the 'error' that they have stated the date rather than amount. Operator apologises and tells the 'correct' amount, person is so relived it is an error any pays up :eek:0 -
Thats what i thought but i dont have a clue about all this stuff my first reaction was rip up the letter! Haha the thought of 15 million pound then i realised it must of been mistake rand the number automatically takes you to DRP so i hung up the national debt line said i could pay in installments haha wonder if my great great great great great great grand kids would appreciate the debt in many years to come haha0
