I have a bunch of DVDs that are cluttering up the place. Is there a way of storing them online eg on YouTube? Or cloud based storage?
If you store them on cloud based storage, do you have to "play" them to get them up there? Or do you just click and save?

Why not purchase an external hard drive and copy them to that ..
To store them "in the cloud", first you need an account with adaqute storage (video files are big, DVD's single layer are 4.7gig)
The downside of this is thats it is going to take an eternity to upload them, and you would have to watch them on a computer rather than your tv (without messing around too much)0 -
i bought small plastic sleeves and it saves a lot of space if you want to keep them.

I think you can also get them in any computer shop“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

From your post I'm inferring (though correct me if I'm wrong) that you don't have much experience with digital technology in a way that would allow you to do what you want easily. Instead, the post above about storing DVDs in sleeves sounds far better far your needs.
The cost of cloud storage for the amount of data you want to upload would be significant. Even a home media centre with your DVDs stored in it would be very expensive, especially if you have any Blu-Ray!
It may also be worth looking into streaming as a means of reducing your collection if you only keep your DVDs for viewing. Examples are Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Purchase empty spindle for £5, place DVDs upon it, remove paperwork from DVD case, flatten out and keep in box file or similar. Tuck them away in a cupboard, attic, or similar.
Take plastic cases to hard plastics bin at local recycle centre.

They're still there if and when you want to play them, but taking up less space.
If you're so unenthused by them that you see them as clutter, why not just get rid of them on Gumtree, eBay or similar?
Most likely you can find them on Netflix or NowTV (less than £10 per mth each with flexible sign in/out as and when you need them), or at intervals on the free channels..... there's no shortage of sources for them0 -
your local tip will store them for the next 200 years"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

I have converted my entire collection of DVD's using Handbrake then transfering to an external usb HDD, food for thought maybe."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0
