I'm looking at buying a used car from a main dealer. The car is around 3 years old and £11 000. Can I still haggle them down on price? Any advice would be greatefully revieved. Thanks

Check around for the best price - its better to get £10 off a car at £10,000 than £1,000 off the same car at another dealers with a £11,000 price tag

If they're the cheapest already then negotiate what you can off, if not, then use the others as leverage.

Arguably, at a main dealers you "will" get the best cars, but likewise you may well end up paying a higher price than a similar car elsewhere
