VW Fixed Service Maintenance Plan
Hi - I'm looking for some advice.
I bought my new VW Touran in Nov 2004 and with it bought a fixed service maintenance plan to cover the cost of servicing the car for three years.
The plan was sold on the basis that doing an average of 10k miles a year the car would need servicing three times during the three year period.
HOWEVER, the car is on a LongLife service schedule and since I bought it has only 'asked' to be serviced once. I will have therefore paid 36 x £12.00 = £432.00 for the privilege.
I feel that I have been mis-sold the plan and want to complain and hopefully get some money back.... do you MSE's out there think I have a case and if so how should I go about complaining?
Thanks for reading and hopefully helping me out!

No. VW would have given you a choice of fixed or variable servicing. The choice was yours, and is based on driving style etc, so you may have ended up having 3 services, its just that you havent.0

Just out of interest...at what mileage did it tell you that it needed a service?
I drive a vw van for a living (s/w transporter) which is also on a longlife service schedule.
I do about 80,000 miles per year of which 60% is motorway the other 40% is town driving (plenty of stop starting)
My van requests a service approx every 18,000 miles. The most that I have ever done before it has requested a service is about 18,700 and the least is about 17,500.
I have had the vehicle for just short of 3 years.
Hope this helps
