Low labour charge.

Many garages will do the work for you (labour) and you can supply your own parts. Might be worth speaking to the garage about such an option.0

I did that once before, I got a recon starter motor and the garage fitted it ( this was a different garage ) think it was one hour labour charge. At least you know where you stand there as the motor electrical supplier tells you how much it is when you take in your old one.
I don't think this guy would do that, he wants to score on the parts.0 -
At the end of the day an oil change take an hour, the garage overheads and wages costs are £40 per hour so to break even the oil change has to cost £40 plus the cost of materials.
£30 labour plus £10 profit on the oil or if everyone brings their own oil his labour charge will have to increase or he’ll be out of business.0
