PPI claim that I want to stop

Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere.
I started a claim with a ppi firm back in 2011. They came back to me and said the claim had failed but they could take it to the ombudsman. To do this I would had to have filled out the paperwork they sent along with the letter and it had to be submitted to the ombudsman within 6 months. I just ignored this as I felt it was a waste of time. Since then they have sent further forms that I've ripped up and ignored. They have been calling regularly and on one of the calls I was told that I stood a good chance of winning compensation. Anyway I said I didn't want to continue but she didn't listen. I now receive calls twice a day from them. My worry now is that at some point they will chase me for administration fees. Is it better that I play along with them and let them finish the claim. If I don't win then surely I won't have tp pay them. I'm also confused anyway as to why they are continuing to hassle me if the deadline was missed for the ombudsman. I'm very worried about this and would value expert advice.

Stop answering their phone calls.
Ans what exactly does your contract say about charges?
You're right, the deadline has been missed so that complaint has totally gone out the window.
But they know who you are, and they're chasing for more money which any future complaint to someone else may provide. Basically, you're an easy target.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
It mentions in their T&Cs that if you want to end a claim you have to write to them and send the letter recorded delivery and will then have to pay admnistration fees up until the claim is cancelled. This is why I wonder if I should just play along and complete another form with them and show willing until it ends I.e. claim fails then I won't pay anything. But I don't really know if this is the way to go?0

Hi,
Did you not realise that one simple letter to your lender was all that was required to reclaim PPI ?
These claims management companies are like leeches, they never let go once they have there hooks in you, you should write and advise you cancelled your claim with them in 2011, and leave it at that.
Ignore any future contact.
You can still make a claim yourself, just by sending a complaint letter.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Complain to the Legal Ombudsman about this harassment.0

Be wary of cancelling the claim then trying to claim the money yourself as they will see it as a breach of a contract you had with them.
When you signed the paperwork allowing them to act for you, you probably signed to say once they commenced work you would pay the fee, usually 25% or above on anything they recover.
I would just leave it as no win, no fee so won't be liable for anything if they don't recover any monies, if they do then you should get something0
