Shower not working

Our shower isnt working, its the type with a seperate pump fitted under the bath and we have a hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard.
The pump was replaced a year ago when we moved in, not had any problems since. Any idea what it could be before we call someone out please?
When you turn it on at the wall, a tiny trickle of water come out the shower head and the pump doesnt start up?
EDIT: I forgot to add, the cold bath tap doesnt work either, turn it right on and nothing at all. Bath hot tap is fine, not sure if its related?

Sounds like air lock, probably caused by incorrect fitting or specification of pumpHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

Thanks Andy, not had any works done for a few months when I had 3 radiators removed to get rooms plastered. Would an airlock show up now? And is there an easy way to cure it?0

If you've got no cold going to it then it sounds like the thermal fail safe is kicking in and stopping the water flowing through. Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

Right, an update. Got in from work today and ran the bath and bathroom sink taps, all OK. Left them running and run the shower with the temperature control turned over to 'HOT' only (we never use it here as its scalding hot), after a good few seconds it fired up, pump kicked in and when we turned the shower temperature down again, it was as its always been?
Only thing is it did get cold a lot quicker than it used to previously?0
