    For a kitchen sink, get a bucket and remove the trap; five minutes work. Don't go mad putting expensive nonsense down the sink.
  • Just to answer your question you can't remove the plug it's called a captive waste & it's designed not to be removable

    It never ceases to amaze me that people are so reluctant to do a proper job by removing and cleaning the waste trap. As I said in my previous post the connections will be only hand tight and 99% of the time this will effect a long term cure of the problem.
