UKCPM, DRP & Gladstones

Hi Guys,

I'm after a bit of guidance. I received a PCN back in May this year. I was parked behind a local Subway (although it's not their land). At the time I did a lot of reading here on the forum. My main defence was going to be due to their signage. Their signs show them as a member of the BPA (they are not, they are a member of the IPC). I sent them the correct template for an IPC appeal by recorded post so I know they received it (although I have since lost the proof) & I heard nothing back. I kept receiving the PCN and ignoring them. I then received the usual DRP rubbish and subsequently ignored it. This week I have received a letter from Gladstones Solicitors say they may take action. It is not a LBC & I believe it is the usual rubbish sent by DRP with Gladstones name on it.

My question to you guys is;

Do you think my case for incorrect signage is good enough to argue? (they are not BPA member)
& should I ignore the Gladstones letter?

I have put links below to photos of the sign in question

Thanks for any help in advance.

Steve

  • At this point, you've little choice.

    If they decide to take you to court, you will have to make the usual arguments that you will have seen in several of the forum defence cases.
