Ppi claim companies advise

I keep seeing posts about claiming if you've ever had certain store cards, mortgages with certain companies etc.
I don't have relevant information, so are there any safe companies who would look into this for me to see I feel we can claim as a couple.
Thanks

There are no companies who can do anything you can't.
If you feel you were mis sold PPI, write to the companies who sold it to you, outlining your reasons for mis sale.0 -

Your insurance details are not in the public domain. No-one can tell you what you had apart from yourself.
It is possible to look up your last 6 years credit record. That would allow you to ask them if you had PPI.
No claims company can tell you what PPI you have had or whether it was mis-sold.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Basically all it takes is a simple letter to the lender in question.
Ask them to list any account you have ever held with them, that had payment protection insurance associated with it, they will write back to you with the information.
If you then feel you have cause for complaint, you write again, outlining your complaint.
The company then has 8 weeks in which to deal with your complaint, and issue a final response, if your not happy, you can take your complaint to the financial ombudsman to resolve for you.
This service is free.
You do not need any 3rd party claims management company to basically write a letter for you.

Look at your credit report, noddle is free, phone the companies involved or go to their websites and look for the complaints section, either download or fill in the complaint form. Send. Wait.
There are no good claims companies, they are all asking for up to 50% of your potential redress, for which work, all they do is put a stmap on an envelope. If you think a stamp on an envelope is worth 50% of any potential redress, go ahead, pick one, they're all the same.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
