I used to use Chrome with MSE and comps would open in new tabs. Suddenly this stopped, which may be due to some sort of update... I can't seem to revert it though! Any tips, compers?
Thanks!
PS Might I add that Loquax ones do still open in a new tab, but using Loquax feels unnatural and I miss MSE

Right clicking and open in new tab is an option? I don't comp so idk how often you're clicking though.0

New MSE security feature apparently stop this from happening. It's been discussed many times if you search.Thank you all who post.0

It's an MSE security feature apparently - they introduced this about 3-4 weeks ago and they're not planning to change it back. The easiest way round it is to either click the wheel in the middle of your mouse, or to right click and select "open in new tab" - either of these will have the same result. It takes a while to train yourself to do it, but I'm finding it second nature now.0

I've been using the Open External Links in New Tab extension for Chrome which is working well.

I am surprised they haven't yet reversed this ridiculous decision.0

I press Ctrl on keyboard then left click. Always opens a new page. Can see how it will cause a problem on a phone or tablet0

Urgh how annoying, having the same issue with Safari and thought it was just a Safari update. Sometimes I have to click back about 3 times before I get back to the comp post..
It's so bloody irritating :mad:0 -
