How did you delete it? If there's any leftover files after deletion this may affect the reinstallation and the problem remains.

You could try removing the printhead, and cleaning the electronic contacts with some isopropyl alcohol. Or flushing the printhead with water if its nozzles are blocked.

thanks for replies I removed the driver from my laptop and reinstalled it - not sure if it removed it all but this worked with another problem (someone else is using your printer - no-one was!)

I cannot believe that the print head is faulty as it prints 2 perfect copies from coupon printing websites e.g. supersavvy me then the error comes up. It's a pain as it's quite a new printer and I have lots of ink for it!

I can try to clean the printer head - is it easy to remove do you think?

    What is the error code?.

If it is 'B200', then the heads will need to be removed and flushed-out with warm water (keep flushing until the water is clear).
Leave to dry naturally over night, then repeat the rinse/dry actions again.

If the error persists, then the heads may have worn-out and are allowing ink to drain from the cartridge/s and block the heads.

Never flush a print head with normal tap water, the minerals carried in tap water can damage the printhead, deionised water is fine, however, a clogged print head won't bring up an error message, it will just give poor print quality.
