Old letters? bank statements for direct debits?
Searching on the internet is like looking for a needle in a haystack"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

There is an old policy finder on the ABI website, I would paste a link if I could. Try googling "ABI lost insurance policy search"0

You need to know the original insurer to get anywhere via ABI.
You could try experian unclaimed assets register at https://www.uar.co.uk
Costs £25 a search!! So maybe a last resort0
