Hi,
We had a successful claim for PPI against First plus now received a letter stating we could have a claim as FP failed to disclose commission from a CMC
Can this be correct?
Can we do it ourselves using the forms on this website?
Our loan is now with Eldridge so do we complain to them.

Can this be correct?
No. it shouldnt be as Plevin only applies to failed complaints.
With successful complaints you are refunded the full premiums paid. With Plevin, you will only be refunded the commission paid above 50% (none if under, only the excess if over 50%).
So, if you had a 100% refund already, then you can't be impacted by Plevin.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. The Claims Company are just trying to drum up business. You will get nothing extra from Plevin because your complaint was successful.now received a letter stating we could have a claim as FP failed to disclose commission from a CMC
Ignore the CMC letter and enjoy your redress, you will get no more...0 -
