Florida park tickets

Hi thanks in advance for help.

I'm goin to Florida next year for 3 weeks, I have been pricing park tickets since we booked in may, I have noticed that full time the same packages for 2016 as cheaper than 2017.
Does this change next year if I wait till after the new year will I get them any cheaper I need 6 tickets at almost £100 more expensive so I don't want to dive straight in.

Another bit of help might be great how do people take their money to Florida we are going 3 weeks and I will be looking to take around £4400 and feel uneasy having all that in cash. Thanks for your help.

Ticket prices go up every year, they're not going to go back down to 2016 prices again after christmas.

Thanks. I thought that may be the case, was just surprised how much the difference is by one year

Pretty sure Disney and Universal have just raised their prices, as they do each year as Peachyprice says. The £/$ rate hasn't helped although this is picking up a bit so may lead to reductions if bought from a US based site.

With regards spending money I think cards are the way most people go these days, there are some tips on the better ones on the site, although even the so called "cards from hell" aren't that bad for the convenience and relative security vs cash. make sure you have more than 1 card though in case the ATM swallows it or it gets blocked for some reason.

Universal are going up a fair old chunk next year because their new water park opens in June so you get an extra park included for nxt summer (still better value than Disney though )

Make sure you get travel ins as soon as you book your holiday, but I don't think park tickets are covered in this if you do (hopefully not) need to cancel.

We found (to our cost) that park tickets are only insured if booked as part of the holiday package. Due to an accident we were unable to travel in October 2016 and tickets expire at the end of each year. Universal, Discovery Cove and Boggy Creek have happily extended the tickets for use in 2017 but Disney have refused.
