East Africa Jan 2017 - Advice please

My youngest is currently in Mozambique working for a charity. We would like to visit her in Jan, meeting her in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls. Trying to stick to a smallish budget (£800 each for 3 people) has anyone been or got any useful advice as to where we can find a good budget type holiday for around 10 days?

I believe that Ethiopian Airlines fly to much of Africa using Addis Ababa as a hub and are reasonably priced. I've flown them to AA on a Dreamliner and couldn't fault them.

I can't comment on Zimbabwe as I haven't visited that country.

Ethiopian Airlines is a good airline with particularly good connections to Zimbabwe. Their tickets include a free stop-over in Addis Ababa, an option which is well worth exercising if you can find the time. Other airlines may offer better value, depending on your dates. Don't forget that Victoria Falls is about as close to Lusaka (Zambia) as to Harare, so it is worth checking fares to both airports.
