How to fix desktop icons win 7 pro

I cannot seem to get my desktop icons to stay put. They are constantly shuffling around. Any suggestions? I am running Win 7 Pro 64 bit.

There are a small number of utilities which can back up the desktop icon state of Windows, enabling you later to restore the desktop icon layout should it become screwed up. These work with various degrees of success.
Try Googling for "windows 7 desktop icons layout backup" and you'll find programs like Fences and Desktop OK.0
