Teaching cat to use a cat flap

OMG - that will be me in a few weeks time with my 4 boys...
But I have a feeling their first time will be going OUT rather than back IN. That will be more exciting for them so hopefully will work0 -
Good news for you then Breadcat is fine with the catflap.
She spends a while looking through it then bashes it with her paw and goes through- both ways. Only thing is she jumps which leads to skids/ handbrake turns in the kitchen to avoid crashing into the fridge and I have not dared look outside as there are steps.
Lots of cats seem to find looking in through it a treat- Oliver I mean you!0
