As you may know there are now two editions of the Electoral Roll.
One is the complete Roll which I always thought the Credit Reference Agencies got a copy of and one for general purposes which you are allowed to opt out from if you wish to do so.
I thought that Credit Reference Agencies would have the complete list from all Local Authority Areas as part of the Anti Money Laundering plans.
Does anyone know of any other Local Authority which opts out of providing the Electoral Roll to the CRAs?...............................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -

I thought that too. The annual form I filled in recently for my council more or less said (from memory) that they were required by law to give the Full Register to the credit reference agencies on request, with no possibility of opt-out (either by me to the ERO or by the ERO to the credit reference agencies).0
