Do you feel confident using an account aggregator?

I use money dashboard
It would just help me gauge why you find it useful to use Money Dashboard against if it's allowed/disallowed in the terms? If it's disallowed there must be some benefit to using the aggregator worth risking against the fraud risk?0 -
i think anyone would need to be insane to pass on the usernames and passwords to 3rd parties which would be required to run this.
Lots of these things have come and gone. Why? Because you'd need to be insane to pass on banking details to 3rd parties, and there are not enough insane people around to make them viable.0 -
Yes I feel comfortable using an account aggregator, and under PSD2 new services will arise in this area. Currently using money dashboard.0

I have been using eWise for the past 7-8 years. All data is stored on your computer and if you forget your eWise password there is no way to retrieve it.

So you go to Asda and spend 35 quid. How does it know that you spent 18 quid on alcohol and 10 quid on condoms, and 5 quid on personal lubricant and 2 quid on a loaf of fancy bread?Goals

I'd rather a system was put in place where by you could issue a token via your bank which would give limited access to a 3rd party, i.e. your balance and transactions only, no other access. Until then I would not use one, although I did use egg money back in the day and it worked well.0
