This Autumn, Canon embraces grassroots moviemaking by sponsoring the 15th Raindance Film Festival - the UK’s largest independent film festival and one of Europe’s most creative. In celebration of the event, Canon is offering two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of Guest Passes to attend the Raindance Film Festival which takes place across London from 25 September – 7th October 2007, plus a pair of exclusive Premiere opening night tickets to the event.

The Guest Passes will allow winners the opportunity to take part in all of the workshops, talks and film screenings that take place throughout the festival - including Canon’s HD Masterclass on Saturday 29th September, 4.30pm, which will be hosted by award-winning cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle (Dogville and 28 Days Later) alongside HD-expert Stefan Ciupek. The winner will also get the chance to attend the Premiere of Weirdsville, taking place at Cineworld, Haymarket, on Tuesday 25th September at 7.30pm. Entry to the exclusive after-show party in Sound, Leicester Square is also included, where the lucky winners can party away until the early hours.

The perfect prize for film-buffs, the Raindance Film Festival includes special screenings from the legendary British director Ken Loach (Kes, Land and Freedom, The Wind That Shakes The Barley) and the chance to grill iconic indie actor Michael Madsen of Reservoir Dogs and Thelma & Louise fame.
