I have kodi running to stream my own content , when used in windows I used to have the windows taskbar , and was able to continue using the computer whilst playing music etc
under mint 17.2 , it starts , grabs the whole display and stops me doing any work , no task/toolbar
is there anyway to open this in a minimised , or smaller box?

RTFM, it reveals pressing the \ keyScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

According to the kodi wiki you press the Backslash key to toggle between "Full Screen" and "Windowed"
Then you just need to "Alt+Tab" between screens to keep working while Kodi plays in the background.Laters

ok , thanks , whilst you are about , a simple question
under windows I was able to add a second monitor to a PC and use the second screen to send a film to the tv via hdmi , and continue to work on display 1
question 1
, now running the nuc , that has display port and HDMI , willl I get display from both outlets if I locate cables?
question 2
can I use a duel (or extended window) in mint 17 , in order to send one stream to a tv?Save a Rachael
