Re apple I pad update.

Hi Guys, updated my I pad couple of hours ago,ok.
Just now, whilst working on it,it went into security lock, requiring username and Apple ID, the same as last major update, locking me and umpteen others out.9 I think it was? Requiring me to phone Apple to unlock it.
It would not accept my ID for some reason.
Luckily, my ID worked this time, and it,s unlocked and ok!
Anyone else had this?
Beware if you instal the latest apple update, that you may need your Apple ID at hand.

Hi Guys, as no one has replied, I presume I must have been the only one locked out, which seems strange!
Can someone remind me how I change my Apple ID please?
Just in case it was not an actual Apple lockout as unlikely as it was !

thanks Guys, usually, there's one or two posted on here.
seems apple boobed again.
They forced this 10 update on us, and it's been plagued ever since.
Didn't know they manufactured bricks;;;;;dread updating the thing

I updated to 10.1.1 last week. No problemo.

Wife got new iPad last week. Same id. Updated to 10.1.1 as well. No problemo.

Nor have I bricked my iPad version one either. Still plays my Sex Pistols. Bodies, out loud through a proper amp and mission speakers!
