As said your biggest problem is thermal inertia.
Even our relatively new property takes time to heat the internal fabric of the building from cold(we let it go down to 10c when away).
Unless you heat up the walls you will just get cold when the heating is off.
Keeping your warm air in the house will help but ultimately it will cool down quickly if the fabric of the building is not warmer.0 -
