Castrol's web site is advising this age of Polo 1.4 is variable servicing interval (which also means a long service interval) requiring long life oil. Castrol recommends Edge 5W-30 which is the same oil recommended for long variable service interval BMW's for example.0

Could you please advise me which engine oil is recommended (by using which fuel economy gets better) for VW Polo 1.4 Automatic (Petrol) 2000 model ?
How much quantity and after how long (mileage) should I change the oil ?
