Yes, my bundle was submitted by hand on the deadline day personally and it was date stamped.
This is not an issue. I could maybe win on the technicalities I pointed out. However if I can somehow produce that boundary map, it's a clear win0 -
Take it anyway, and maybe a land registry map (costs £3). Seeing as they added evidence so late you can do the same! I'm glad you are on the case with your WS and evidence in on time, scores you brownie points and some Judges would tear the Claimant off a strip - so definitely get a letter to the Judge in advance like other posters here have - worked a treat!).
Also take a picture of 'the Beavis sign' from the Parking Prankster's website (and a printout of Schedule 4 if you have not said/will not be saying who parked). All in triplicate with you on the day. Are you and your friend going to sit in on each others cases?
Which PPC? Was it a Gladstones case or BW Legal? Neither of them show up as reps, they appoint a local hired legal bod.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, not sitting in on each others case, apparently she'll be too embarrassed with me watching her! And I don't wish to cause her problems.
The PPC is the hardest one to crack. District enforcement.0 -
The boundary map they submitted is a land registry map. With a blue line showing their enforcement area. I did download the land registry plan. It is different to what DE submitted, and wasn't good enough to clear me0

Not with Gladstones in their corner!
http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/district-enforcement-youve-been.htmlPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Well, Gladstones have been extremely shoddy to be fair. But if Daniel (DE director) turns up, it's going to be much harder. What percentage of cases does he represent?0

Clearly so well informed that they couldn't get the name right. It is actually Danylo, not Daniel.Insanity200 wrote: »Well, Gladstones have been extremely shoddy to be fair. But if Daniel (DE director) turns up, it's going to be much harder. What percentage of cases does he represent?
DE have form for acting outside the area in which they are authorised. This is because the reality behind them in many cases is that they are a self-ticketing operation. The PCN's will have been issued by some local resident or agent not an employee of DE whose only interest is in picking up the bounty for each ticket issued - not necessarily the fine detail of where they can or can't enforce.
DE have discontinued cases I have personal knowledge of as a result of being told at an early stage that the defendant intended to use Land Registry evidence.
They are most certainly not the hardest nut to crack. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Haha, yes, Danylo.
Letter has been sent to judge regarding the late submission.
Another question, looking through my evidence, I submitted a photo specifically pointing out that the substation is owned by electric company.
Although my discription was very brief. Would I be allowed to expand on that photo in court, explaining what a power company has to do in order to place such a structure on private land? Obtain deeds, etc, and perhaps convince the judge that this particular land cannot be enforced.
This is in the off chance the judge won't accept my map.0
