It was a choice of 3 toilet bags which were free with a £25 spend on beauty, so the advent calendar qualified for the gift, regardless of what else you purchased. It is supposedly worth £12. They went out of stock quite quickly, don't know if it's an ongoing offer where they will get more stock. Haven't picked mine up yet, so can't comment on what you've missed. Didn't make it to the shops today, will pick up tomorrow :)

That happened to me yesterday morning and I was stressed. When I looked at my account I could see that they had dispatched one parcel out of two. By yesterday afternoon they had dispatched three parcels one of which was the advent calendar. Maybe the calendars are in a different warehouse?

I put in 3 orders and the calendars arrived this morning so I think they had been all packed and ready maybe even a different delivery system than the clothes or toiletries.
They are very heavy if you are posting them on as a gift.
  • now sold out online - so that's my final decision made no calendar for me this year.

Still over 300 in my local store but that would involve definitely spending the extra £35 so its a no go.

Next year I might plan better so if I need something new in say October I might see if M&S sell it and if it can wait until the calendar release date.

For those that have them, do you know the contents or have you not looked so its a surprise every day?

Ooh I'm glad I ordered last night, I'd been putting it off! I've had a look at the contents online. I know it's supposed to be a surprise, but I want to know what I'm buying for £35!

Not that bad - they weigh under 2kg (including the packing box they come in if you ordered online) and the size of the box means they can go second class Royal Mail for £2.85, or Small Parcel under 2kg via Hermes (£2.75 if you drop off at a ParcelShop, £3.10 if the courier collects from you).

For my sanctury spa advent calendar a 'bargain' at £25 I didn't look and I won't know until I open each door, I have been very good and not even peeked at the back of the calendar that lists the contents.

For this one I did have a peek at an unboxing YouTube video not every day just three random windows and it looked really good, but that could just be coincidence that I picked the best three days. Now I am definitely not getting one unsure whether to scrutinise the contents list as it might lead to more disappointment that I missed out :rotfl:

The stores are flooded with these things. Can't see that they're really worth £250 for what you get.
