I ordered the red bag as it has the least Christmassy slogan :)

Got one in store this morning - absolutely loooooooads in Birmingham!

Bought with a pair of boots I'd was going to get anyway, I just waited until this came out.

Love the boots, love the calendar (there are loads of things in there I do already know and genuinely like and use).
  • This looks tempting, what happens though if you need to return something you order and that would take the total under £35, does the calendar have to returned too?

They give you a credit note for the returned items so you are still having to spend the same amount.
The days of getting the amount returned to your card or as cash is long gone now in M&S

I got a refund to my card last week, never had anything but in M&S

If you have your receipt then you would have your payment method returned in the same way as you paid. Don't know what you're talking about with the last bit?

Yes they could ask for it back.

  • I've had refunds back onto my card for online orders but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a credit note in these circumstances otherwise what's to stop you ordering £35 worth of stuff and then returning it all but keeping the calendar (unless they insist on it being returned) and spending that money elsewhere?! I'll probably have to give this a miss as I invariably end up sending most M&S stuff back!
  • I didn't order online, (I didn't know about the free make up bag, raging!) as I had school run etc to do anyway and ran into store at 9am this morning. I had to get MIL jammies and slippers so I thought i would treat myself.
Newtownabbey branch was falling down with the advent calendars, they were positioned all over the store so if anyone doesn't get one online, I would say there's a good chance of picking one up in all branches.
I couldn't wait and opened a few of the boxes and some of the stuff is tiny, like the serums and eye creams. Alright for a luxurious treat but definitely not worth £250.

Went in a store today to a have a look, they had loads and they look really good.

However I never shop in m&s and can't justify the £35 spend and I would just be spending it for the sake of it, I am temped to look online to spend £17.50 on half price items but its still a waste of £17.50 as I don't need or want anything in that range.

I really wish I had something I needed to buy but as I don't £70/52.50 is too much :(
