PPI Claim

I have been awarded PPI but the bank are taking over £1000 off the total. In 2004 I used my PPI to make a claim and my mortgage was paid for 2 months. Now they are taking £1000 off my refund. Can they do this?

Of course they can. You complained that you wished you never had it. So, they have agreed and are putting you back in the position as if you never had it just as you asked.
