7 day insurance suggestions

Hi all,

I need to cover a 70 year old female on a Freelander for seven days. She has 15yrs no-claims and a UK licence for 50+ years.

Any recommendations for providers? Needs to be fully comp.

Is the car covered under its own policy? If so, won't they add her?

No. It's between owners at the moment.

Why does she only need a short term policy? Why not just buy an annual policy, and tax it?

She is driving it down to me. I'll tax it and will be the V5 keeper.

So add her as a named driver on your policy.

You insure it adding her name to your policy and then tax it and she can drive it to you.

had same thing bought my rover off a widow got her details and she drove it, cost me £30 to add her for a week.
