DIY Turkey £730 for family of 4

Just wanted to let people know my experience of booking a DIY holiday to Turkey. We used to own a holiday home there, but sold that this year. We love the resort of Calis Beach and have stayed in some lovely apartments run by a Turkish couple who have become our friends.
Last week I booked 4 flights for the end of June using www.cheapestflights.co.uk £119 each plus 1% debit card fee.
3 bedroomed apartment £200 booked direct with the owners www.tenapartments.com
Private transfer arranged with the owner £50 return
Total cost for 1 week for 2 adults and 2 children £730
Only a few tour ops go to Calis these days so a package was out of the question as we want apartments but could only find hotels on offer. We also know the apartments we are using are not just basic ones, they are a bit more than that but not luxury by any means. We also have a private transfer so no waiting around on a hot coach and a shorter journey time!

That sounds great. I notice that you are in Bristol. Are you flying from Bristol ?0

No, Gatwick. Bristol was over £200 more but the flight is on a Saturday at 3pm so not too much of a rush.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
