Problems with Tesco Credit Card

in Credit cards
Not sure if this is the right forum, but think so!
I have placed an order on B+Q website this evening, I had to order tonight as had a 10% off code that expires at midnight. I paid using my Tesco credit card, as had a leaflet to say it's interest free until March. I got an order number, but the message said "we are working on your order" Also received a text from Tesco to ask if it was an expected transaction, which I replied to.
The problem is I've not had a B+Q confirmation email yet, and it's not showing in My Orders. I realized afterwards that it's probably to do with the problems Tesco have had with their current accounts.
The order I placed was for over £550 - so the 10% off was a significant £55 - and I've no way of knowing if it will be honoured if I have to use a different card tomorrow. I'm hoping it will go through, and that I've not just lost us £55.
Has anyone else had issues using a credit card online?

It sounds like it was a security check - it happens occasionally with all my cards - and means that the transaction probably won't have gone through. I would order again and cancel one if you end up with two orders.0

The problem is, it was a 1 time only code for 10% off, wish I'd used my other credit card now! There's still time I suppose.0

I wouldn't worry about the £55. The way Tesco are chucking 'goodwill' at their customers at the moment I'm sure they'll cover it.0

Thanks for a bit of reassurance, I'm hoping it will probably be OK, it's obviously got as far as Tesco as I had the text to confirm almost instantly, and topcashback notification came through too. If for some reason I loose the discount, then I'll give Tesco a call.0

Update, I got at text from B and q at 5am to say my order has been confirmed, at the correct price. So must have just been held up.0

Don't mean to throw a spanner in the works but isn't the interest free only on purchases made in Tesco?0

Blimey you are right, just read the smaller print on their website. Luckily we do have the money, was just trying to eek it out a bit til after Xmas. I'll be I'm not the only one who didn't read the leaflet properly. the main thing was getting the 10% off as it made a big difference.0
