MBNA Direct Debit change consequences

You can't be serious?!
What would they say? 'Don't forget that if you have 2 DDs set up on your Club Lloyd's account you may lose your interest if you don't have another DD set up AND don't forget your BOS Vantage accounts AND the same with your Co-Op account AND you won't get your switching bonus to M&S bank if you haven't got another two DDs set up AND AND AND ad infinitum'
Sigh!
"Please note that we'll be collecting the DD payment on a different date, so check with your bank that this will not affect any other arrangements or promotions" - or words to that effect!0 -
Either the OP is fibbing or they did not put £1500 through the account - that is the only reason they were charged £5 club fee.0

Yes, but MBNA would, or should, have been well aware of this possibility. They could have mentioned it alongside all the stuff they sent out about the new arrangement.0
