intel nuc (513) display

intel nuc 513 strieght connection from hdmi to hdmi on a newish monitor (tried others)

when the nuc is turned off the monitor stays on (blue light) , when used with conventional PCs using HDMI the monitor goes into standby ok

No idea specific to your device, but 'HDMI power control', 'HDMI control', HDMI CEC' etc would be suspects - try turning any of those on or off if they appear in the BIOS. Also, there's a small chance that this is set per input on your TV - are you using the conventional PCs on the same input?

OK. If this was a PC we were talking about, there would be video drivers, and settings in the OS that could change how the HDMI output operates = can you find those settings?

Does the monitor have DVI input and do you have a HDMI to DVI cable. Also have you tried an alternative HDMI cable ?

We are talking W10 here and not mint ?
