Good point actually. Looking at the description it looks like I have got PCP rather than HP.
I thought it was HP as it was written Hire Purchase on the cover my folder with documents inside. Maybe they use the same folder for both.
PCP's are nearly always HP agreements (a few are conditional sale) they just have a different payment structure to a straightforward "traditional" HP agreement. It could also be HP with a balloon payment that has no GMFV or mileage limits.0 -

Sorry I didn't intend to imply there was currently a card offering 0% transfer fee - I was posting on the fly as nobody at the time of my post had mentioned this option. I was merely explaining, broadly, what costs would be involved so the OP could investigate further. I would have been irresponsible not to mention the transfer fee but equally as they all differ it was impossible to give an accurate figure so I based my 0-3% on figures I have seen available in the time I have been aware of these cards.0 -

I miss Egg - those lovely fee free transfers into my offset mortgage made a big differenceI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

That's what I thought. But working out if 5.9% then the monthly payment is £242 and if 9.9% then the monthly payment is £249. Both for 18 months period. So not a huge difference as I was expecting.0
