Old imac intel dual core have matt screens!!!
I love mine and there's no way I would swop it for one of those minty silver ones. I paid £1200 for it 2 years ago!!! Shambolic compared to the price now!!!

No. At the moment you can only legitimately buy them connected to a 2 year airtime contract.0 -
Why do people include the price of the contract in the phone?
If you got another phone, you'd still be paying for a contract..
There isnt another phone out there as good as it, and its pretty exclusive, which is probably the reason alot of people seemingly hate it, because they are already on an 18month contract eleswhere.0 -

I am pretty sure you can buy them without the contract. Someone might then be willing to buy it off you in the uk to hack it.0 -

It looks like an iPhone but I bet it's not a joy to use, unlike the iPhone. People seem to miss the point with Apple products that it's not the badge or the features, it's the usability and the functionality that make these products so sought after.0 -

No, the vast majority of phones are available SIM free or PAYG.Supercharge_Me wrote: »There isnt another phone out there as good as it, and its pretty exclusive, which is probably the reason alot of people seemingly hate it, because they are already on an 18month contract eleswhere.

I agree - from what I've seen you can walk into a store, buy the phone and walk out without signing a contract, you call AT&T later to activate the phone and sort out the payment. It is possible there is some implied contract with the phone itself (ie. "by opening this box...") but I doubt it would be enforced.0
