Get the iPhone UNLOCKED now in the UK for LESS than £262/£236!

I do quite fancy one of these. Does anyone know, if I was to get one and unlock it, would I be able to use my existing T-Mobile simcard from my MDA Vario in it? Would the webby stuff still work?

So you may get unlimited data and wifi, but wifi you can get access at wetherspoons for 30 minutes with a pint. Unlimited data, it will take a long to download music from itunes on a 2g connection.

So at the end of day you are paying £900 for a glorified Ipod with basic phone, this is a moneysaving site so why not just get a Video Ipod Touch for £250 and a reasonable phone for £150.

Wait till the New Year for a 3G version at least you would be able to download tracks anywhere with 3g coverage.

This is indeed a money saving site, which is why the OPs suggestion is NOT to take out a contract, so there is no 900 pound anything.

I was just wondering that those VAT figures don't make sense, 17.5% of $400 is not $50.
It seems that this information originally came from hotukdeals, and they have updated the prices to be around £245 if you don't get charged VAT, and £291 if you do.

Although, it looks like the final costs will be even higher still, 'FromUS2EU.com' have other costs that weren't included in that figure.

I really wouldnt reccomend the iPhone !!! Minus the touchscreen its very bog standard !!! I would strongly reccomend getting the iPod touch and a phone seperate

The iPhone is a very average phone really - only a two megapixel camera when u can get a 3 mp camera on a phone for 99 pound and quite a few reviews are very negative id strongly reccomend getting the ipod touch and a phone seperately the ipod touch has all the features of the iPhone minus the phone and camera

I really struggled whether to wait and get a iPhone, but in the end I stayed with Windows Mobile and got a Vario 3 from T-Mobile on an upgrade. The Vario 3 is an absolutely awesome phone and does pretty much everything you could ever want a phone to do !!!

Lots of reviews about the inadequacies of the iPhone, even down to the fact you can't do voice dialling on it. Having said that, the people slagging it off still said you have to had one cos they look soo cool :cool:

i take your point about the iphone being an average phone, but the ipod is just a music player isnt it..

there's plenty of others on the market today which do the same thing and are much cheaper

I think you are missing the main point of the iphone.. it is, or at least will become, iconic.

why do kids have Nike's rather than nicks? more or less the same trainer, but one costs 10x the price. The iphone will sell in huge numbers regardless of its quality as it is correctly marketed. which i exactly why i bought lots of shares in apple a couple of months ago and i am happily watching the share price increase. I'l sell in jan... after xmas.

Yeah, the mind boggles why these sell so well. I've got a Mac Mini, and I think it's great, and I'm planning on getting an iMac when they finally produce a matte screen option. But the iPhones? Thanks to these forums, I picked up a Lobster TV that does more for a measly twenty quid. And there are other phones around the hundred quid mark that blow the iPhone out of the water, touch gimmick aside.
