Norton support scam

Had a call on my landline today, from someone with an Indian accent, claiming to be from the "Norton Support Centre". They continued: "You have Norton on your computer, right?" In fact I do, but I said No I do not and they rang off. On checking back, the call was from a withheld number. So another scam.

What is interesting was that they range me on my landline but asked for me by a name I only use for some online accounts. My landline is in a different name.

Scam. I had one on Sunday morning at 8.30am ( the one day I get to veg on the sofa until 9. )Strange thing is I do not have any accounts with Norton and even if I did I would never give any information over the phone unless I had called them via normal channels.

They want access to your computer so they can get as much info as possible. Just put the phone down!
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A
